Joan: *to Kelly* Kelly, you've outdone yourself.
Kelly: *blushes* thanks miss Joan.
Mr. Phoenix: *SCREAMS!!!!*
Kelly: sounds like my dad's blown a fuse. I'll be right back.
Mr. Phoenix: I DEMAND TO KNOW WHY IS THIS IN MY BEDROOM?!?!?!
Kelly: *slaps her dad silly* SNAP OUTTA IT! listen, there's a French convention coming up, and i had to make costumes for miss Joan and the Doid's. there's even a Disrespectoid from France itself!!
Mr. Phoenix: *calms down* I'm sorry Kelly, I didn't know. I'm sorry for yelling.
Kelly: I'm sorry for slapping you.
(they both hug each other crying.)
Joan: do you both feel better?
Mr. Phoenix: yes.
Kelly: yes, and i was saving this for later but.. here's your costume miss Joan.
Joan: oh my goodness, I love it!
Mr. Phoenix: you can keep it, anything to get it out of my bachelor room.
Kelly: I'm sorry for slapping you.
(they both hug each other crying.)
Joan: do you both feel better?
Mr. Phoenix: yes.
Kelly: yes, and i was saving this for later but.. here's your costume miss Joan.
Joan: oh my goodness, I love it!
Mr. Phoenix: you can keep it, anything to get it out of my bachelor room.
Joan: thank you Mr. Phoenix.
(after everyone went home, Joan tries on the dress.)
Joan: *tries on the dress*
Oliver: *just comes in* hey Joan. *sees Joan in a dress* wow. *his eyes go big at the sight of Joan in a dress*
Joan: do you like it? Kelly made it for me.
Oliver: yeah...you and Betty can be twins
Joan: we can, but i'll have to add little square glasses to Betty.
Joan and Oliver: *laughs*
Betty: *overheard and started to cry*
Joan: *hears Betty crying* Betty? what's wrong?
Betty: *crying* I don't want to wear shquare glassesh, I like my eyes ash they are. *bounces off to her room to cry*
Joan, Oliver and Lindsay: *goes to the Second Three's room to comfort Betty*
Joan: *as she knocks on the door* Betty? may we come in?
Betty: *sniffs* I guessh.
(The three comes in and sees Betty crying on her pillow as Chuck naps)
Joan: *as she sits on the bed* Betty, Oliver and i didn't mean what we said earlier. we were talking about my dress.
Betty: *looks at Joan* really?
Joan: really.
Lindsay: *purred up against Betty* Joan and my daddy were just joking around.
Betty: *hugs Lindsay* thanksh everyone.
Chuck: *can hear this* keep it down will ya? I'm trying to nap.
Joan: *goes over to Chuck* sorry Chuck, we were cheering up Betty.
Chuck: *stretches and hugs Betty* I'm sorry too. I should've known better than to nap while Betty's sad.
Betty: *hugs Chuck*
Joan: *to Chuck, Betty and Lindsay* it's time to go to the French Convention.
Betty: yay!
Chuck: *As he puts on his shoes for the French Convention* ok Mama.
Lindsay: *gets dressed* lets go.
